Well, PC is only constant that survived until today ,with lots of hardware and software changes though ; I played so many PC games on old boxy windows and numerous flash ones from old Cartoon Network site and Newgrounds while it was still an unknown site.
Actually, only 2 games I had for SNES were Street Fighters and 99 in 1 pack ; I remember playing Super Mario , Bomberman and Battle City alot with my parents in pajamas before sleeping.
I had (and still have ) Pokemon special edition one with Pokemon Crystal game, I wasted so much of my youth playing that game, catching all the pokemons and exploring the "big" virtual world.
PSX mini is still my favourite ; Funny story how I got it though - everyone had that big PSX , and obviosly , as a cool kid, I had to own one.I begged my parents to buy me one and eventually they did on a one trip to Italy. But once I opened the box, I was so dissapointed seeing this slim console. At that time I didn't realize I was probably one of first kids to actually lay hands , on then new, slim version of PSX.Well, at least it gave me the title of coolest kid in neigbourhood back then : )
Spyro the dragon , James Bond racing, Kirikou and Medievil were my favourite games ; 2 years ago I found my PSX again and bought Vagrant Story over Internet , it was a joy to hear loading and CD reading sounds again.Still thinking about getting Castlevania Symphony of Night ...
I didn't technically own it, friend borrowed me one for a period that extended for some time : )
Played Wario land, Pokemons, Zelda , Lord of the Rings and some other games I don't remember anymore
N-gage was more a quasi Nokia attempt to disturb hanheld market. It was actually very cool and powerfull for time, except counting in the fact that you had to hold it in funny position to recieve phonecalls (looked like you were shaving your face ) ; N- gage game marketplace became a brand then and had many high quality game titles reserved for production ( 3D Red Faction, 3D Tomb Raider, there was even a Morrowind like game that was set in huge world )
Nokia N96 was Nokia flagship back in the days while it was still a leading mobile phones company, but even then first iPhone 1 was very close to being released; it was still impresive harware wise and I had tons of emulators on it: from SCUMMVM (old DOS point and click games) , to NES,SNES, Genensis, Gameboy color, advance...
It was a golden handheld gaming age for me, I managed to play all those games I skipped on previous consoles while I was younger.I pirated a lot of ROMs and games back in those days.
iPad 4 , my first iOS device.Beautiful, elegant, powerfull, I am still amazed on how many high quality games can be played on it.Giving money to hard working indie developers that shape App Store future and just being a part of it all is very exciting.
"I pity da fool with such gaming history"
You said it right, Mr T....
